This past Christmas I decided to crochet an afghan for my mom. I used the fattest crochet hook I could find and Lion Brand Homespun Thick & Quick yarn in Relish. I simply made row after row of double crochets and a border of single crochets. I used five skeins of yarn for the body of the afghan, and then about a half skein for the border. It took me about three days to complete, and probably closer to a total of 14 hours or so.

I live in Brooklyn with my partner and our cat. Some of my many interests include taking advantage of all of the culinary delights this city has to offer, hanging out with my friends, reading, watching movies and tons of TV, crafting, and going to the theater (especially musicals).
